About Amazing Truth Ministries

Amazing Truth Ministries seeks to glorify God with a three fold goal. Using primarily illusion, we seek to evangelize the lost, exhort the believer to holy living, and equip saints for a more effective ministry. Our deep desire is to help people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ and see them transformed through obedience as they apply God's word to their own lives in practical ways. It is this desire that led Mike into this unique ministry of using illusion to illustrate the principles of God's word. The Pucketts use their skills as illusionist performing in evangelistic festivals, churches, Upward events, orphanages, and schools internationally, to teach, and to train while sharing the "AMAZING TRUTH" of God's word in fun and memorable ways. Mike Puckett is a Next Generation Evangelist and is an approved Upward entertainer.

Steps of Faith and Shy Boldness

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…” –Romans 1:16

The gospel of Christ; that sweet song of deliverance, unimaginable mercy, total dependence, it is who we are as Christians. Young or old, our story is the same in Christ.

I work at a women’s gym and one of my responsibilities is to sign up new members. The process is fairly simple. I greet the new perspective member and invite them to sit down with me. I tell them I want to get to know them, learn about their health, and show them how we can help them attain their fitness goals. These mini interviews are enjoyable and I often come away from the table feeling energized and excited for the new member as she sets out on her journey towards better health.

During these times, I learn a lot about the woman sitting before me. Her health history, what her marriage is like, her children, and her beliefs. I’ve interviewed the atheist, the agnostic, the cultist, and here and there, the Christian. I admit that sometimes, I really have to bite my tongue, to keep from disagreeing with the prospective new member.

It’s hard to be a Christian in the work place, isn’t it?

The other day, I sat down with the fifty-two-year old daughter of one of our members. Her face told of a life lived hard and fast, but she had a sweetness about her that I was instantly drawn to. As we discussed her health, she admitted that she quit smoking several months ago. I high fived her and congratulated her and her accomplishment.

When I asked why she was ready to take control of her health now, she replied, “It’s been a long time in coming. I want to take better care of myself.” She paused and smiled shyly at me. “I just got saved…” and her voice trailed off.

I dropped my pen and grabbed her hands in mine, “That’s wonderful news sister! Welcome to the family!” A dazzling smile appeared on her face and we quietly rejoiced over the One who saved her from her sins.

Her steps of faith and shy boldness led her to confess her new found faith to me, a total stranger. I admired her willingness to spread the gospel, wherever Christ would lead.

May this be said of each of us!

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature…” –Mark 16:15
